Tara Parker-Pope continues the conversation on the NYT Well Blog, "The Downside of a Cancer Study Extolling CT Scans," saying that â??cancer and screening experts are worried that the limited findings will be used by private screening centers to promote the test to a broader group than was studied.â?? This has the potential for excess unnecessary lung scans, exposing patients to risk and worry.
