Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Jessie Gruman

Family, friends and colleagues gathered at the New York Academy of Medicine this past Sunday, October 5, to celebrate the life of Jessie Gruman, CFAH's founder and president until her death on July 14. The event program included remarkable photos from throughout Jessie's life, citations from her honorary degrees and recent awards, and a message from her husband of 30 years, Richard Sloan. The program can be viewed here.

CFAH board of trustees and staff are hosting a reception to honor Jessie this Thursday, October 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Center of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), 2000 Florida Ave NW, Washington, DC. CFAH's offices have been in the AGU building since 1994. The program can be viewed here.
