Mary Andrus is currently the assistant vice president for government relations at Easter Seals, where she monitors federal legislation affecting people with disabilities and their families, with a focus on health issues including health care reform, Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program and comparative effectiveness research. Prior to joining Easter Seals, Mary worked on Capitol Hill for 23 years as staff to a Representative from Iowa. She has also worked as a social worker and respiratory therapist. |
