Perry Cohen voices the interests of People with Parkinson’s (PwP), particularly in the development of new therapies. As Director of the Parkinson Pipeline project, which he founded in 2001, he has become an international thought leader and speaker/writer on ethical and scientific issues from the patient perspective. Educated at MIT and CMU in systems management and with more than 20 years of experience in medical research and health care policy prior to his diagnosis with Parkinson’s Disease in 1996, Perry advocates for patient centered research designs in scientific and regulatory settings.

It would be nice to know if a treatment is totally worthless or that there are truly horrible side effects to a treatment or that a treatment really won't help slow the disease or relieve the symptom it's aimed at.
