HABIT

July 27, 2004

Vol. 7 No. 7

Dear Colleagues,

Sometimes it’s what you don’t know that makes you smarter — if you can eventually recognize the gaps in your knowledge. This month’s HABIT takes a look at a few areas of “hidden” information, including the buried results of clinical trials and two IOM reports that point out what we don’t know about health among America’s young and old. As the saying goes, the first step to solving a problem is admitting (or discovering) that a problem exists.

Don’t forget, HABIT takes its usual summer break in August, but check back with us in September for the latest in news of interest to those concerned about transforming health behavior research into effective policy and practice."

Cheers --
