Dear Colleagues,
This month's HABIT is what our editor would call "zaftig" (that's Yiddish for "juicy").
Each article touches on a different aspect of the convoluted process by which research on health behavior makes its way into policy and practice.
Take a look at the specifics -- but also consider stepping back to take the long view: how much time and effort is required to build the systems, professional capacity and consumer readiness required to transfer and translate research into action.
It's ambitious work, for sure. But I trust that when the results come -- like the results reported in this issue -- they'll charge your batteries, as they do mine.
