AHRQ Seeks Topics for Evidence-Based Practice Centers

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality encourages the collaboration and participation of professional societies, health systems, payers and providers as it fulfills its mission to promote the practice of evidence-based health care.

Toward this end, AHRQ has issued a call for nominations of topics for evidence reports and technology assessments relating to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of common diseases and clinical conditions. Topics related to organization and financing of health care also are welcome.

Nominators of selected topics become partners of AHRQ and its evidence-based practice centers, with defined roles and responsibilities.

Nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis. Only those submitted by April 15 will be considered for the next group of evidence reports and technology assessments.

To access the Federal Register notice inviting the nominations, go to frwebgate.access.gpo.gov. (Be patient; this connection takes more time than most.)
