HABIT

April 23, 2002 Vol. 5 No. 4

Dear Colleagues,

It seems like we spend half our days going through our e-mail, but there's good e-mail and there's bad e-mail.

The good e-mail (and I trust you put HABIT in that category!) calls your attention to valuable information you otherwise would never see or spend hours looking for. The bad e-mail -- well, it just wastes your time.

With that in mind, I invite you to sign up for another of the Center's popular e-mailed resources: the Health Behavior News Digest, issued Monday through Friday mornings. The Digest highlights five to 10 items on the subject of health and behavior published or broadcast within the past 24 hours. You get a headline, a lead paragraph, and a URL that links you to the full text.

The service is free. Just send your name, affiliation and e-mail address, along with the message "Sign me up for the News Digest," to bmoore@cfah.org. Don't want the Digest every day? Go to www.cfah.org/hbns/news_digest/digest.cfm, or visit www.cfah.org and click on "Health Behavior in the News," when you do.

Cheers --

Jessie Gruman, PhD
Executive Director, Center for the Advancement of Health
